i know why i never go anywhere

i hate to admit it but I AM THAT

i can’t reveal it because I AM THAT!

i’m so scared

i cringe before both the familiar and unknown

i don’t want to disappoint but it’s all i ever do

i am tired but i fear REST, the possibility of it’s PERMANENCE

i’m not ready

i am rendered immobile by indecision

and i realize again why i never go anywhere
